You can also visit the Medina of Tunis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you can wander through the narrow streets and alleys and shop for souvenirs.

After breakfast, head to the ancient city of Carthage, which was once a powerful Phoenician city-state. Explore the ruins of the ancient city, including the Punic Ports, the Antonine Baths, and the Amphitheater. Afterward, head to the picturesque village of Sidi Bou Said, known for its blue and white buildings and stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea.

Day 3: Kairouan and El Jem

Today, you'll visit two of Tunisia's most important historical sites. First, head to Kairouan, one of the holiest cities in Islam and home to the Great Mosque of Kairouan, one of the oldest and most important mosques in North Africa. Afterward, head to El Jem to visit the famous Roman amphitheater, which is one of the best-preserved Roman ruins in the world.

Day 4: Tozeur and Douz

Today, you'll head to the desert town of Tozeur, known for its palm groves and traditional architecture. Take a stroll through the old town and visit the Dar Cheraït Museum, which showcases traditional Tunisian crafts and art. Afterward, head to Douz, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. You can take a camel ride or a 4x4 tour of the desert dunes.

Day 5: Matmata and Gabes

Today, you'll visit the Berber village of Matmata, famous for its underground homes and Star Wars filming locations. You can visit one of the troglodyte homes and learn about the traditional way of life in this unique village. Afterward, head to Gabes to visit the colorful market and see the traditional pottery-making techniques.

Day 6: Departure

After breakfast, your guide will take you to the airport for your departure flight. If time allows, you can do some last-minute shopping or sightseeing before heading home.
