Turkey is a beautiful country with so much to see and do. Here's an ideal itinerary for 5 days in Turkey:

Day 1: Istanbul

Start your day with a visit to the iconic Blue Mosque, also known as Sultan Ahmed Mosque. This stunning mosque is one of the most famous landmarks in Istanbul and is a must-visit. After that, head to the Hagia Sophia, a former church turned mosque turned museum. The architecture and history of this building are truly breathtaking. In the afternoon, take a stroll through the Grand Bazaar, one of the oldest and largest covered markets in the world. Here, you can find everything from spices to jewelry to textiles.

Day 2: Cappadocia

Take an early morning flight to Cappadocia, a region in central Turkey known for its unique landscape and rock formations. Start your day with a hot air balloon ride over the stunning valleys and fairy chimneys. After that, explore the Goreme Open Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that features rock-cut churches and monasteries. In the afternoon, visit the Kaymakli Underground City, an ancient city built underground for protection during times of war.

Day 3: Pamukkale

Take a morning flight to Pamukkale, a town in western Turkey known for its natural hot springs and travertine terraces. Start your day by visiting the Hierapolis Archaeological Site, an ancient city built on top of the hot springs. After that, head to the Spice Bazaar, a colorful market filled with spices, sweets, and souvenirs. In the afternoon, take a Bosphorus cruise, where you can see the city from the water and enjoy the beautiful views of the Istanbul skyline.
