10 day itinerary for Uganda

Itinerary

Uganda is a beautiful country with so much to offer. Here's an ideal itinerary for 10 days in Uganda:

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by your guide who will transfer you to your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day relaxing and recovering from your flight.

Day 2: Kampala City Tour

After breakfast, you will embark on a city tour of Kampala. You will visit the Uganda Museum, the Kasubi Tombs, and the Namugongo Martyrs Shrine. You will also have lunch at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel.

Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, you will drive to Murchison Falls National Park. You will stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided walk to see the rhinos. After lunch, you will proceed to the park and check into your lodge.

Day 4: Game Drive and Boat Cruise

You will start the day with an early morning game drive in the park. You will have the opportunity to see elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and many other animals. In the afternoon, you will take a boat cruise on the Nile River to the base of the falls.

Day 5: Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, you will drive to Kibale Forest National Park. You will check into your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, you will go for a nature walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary.

Day 6: Chimpanzee Trekking

You will start the day with chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest. You will have the opportunity to see these amazing primates up close in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, you will visit the nearby crater lakes.

Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will check into your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, you will go for a game drive in the park.

Day 8: Game Drive and Boat Cruise

You will start the day with an early morning game drive in the park. You will have the opportunity to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, and many other animals. In the afternoon, you will take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel.

Day 9: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After breakfast, you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. You will check into your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit a local community and learn about their way of life.

Day 10: Gorilla Trekking

You will start the day with gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. You will have the opportunity to see these amazing primates up close in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, you will return to your lodge for a farewell dinner.

Day 11: Departure

After breakfast, you will be transferred back to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.
