Day 1: Exploring Vaishno Devi

Morning:

• Start your day early and head to the Vaishno Devi Temple. The temple is located in the Trikuta Mountains and is one of the most revered pilgrimage sites in India.
• Begin your trek to the temple. The trek is approximately 12 kilometers long and takes around 4-6 hours to complete. The path is well-paved and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
• Along the way, you will come across various stalls and shops selling snacks, drinks, and religious souvenirs. Take breaks as needed and enjoy the scenic beauty of the surroundings.

Afternoon:

• Reach the Vaishno Devi Temple and offer your prayers. The temple is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Vaishno Devi and is believed to fulfill the wishes of its devotees.
• Take some time to explore the temple complex and learn about its history and significance. The architecture and intricate carvings are truly mesmerizing.
• Enjoy a delicious vegetarian meal at one of the many food stalls or restaurants near the temple. The local cuisine, including Rajma Chawal and Kadhi Chawal, is a must-try.

Evening:

• After visiting the temple, you can take a leisurely stroll around the nearby areas. The atmosphere is serene and peaceful, perfect for spending quality time with your family.
• If time permits, you can visit the nearby Bhairavnath Temple. It is believed that the pilgrimage to Vaishno Devi is incomplete without seeking blessings at this temple.
• As the day comes to an end, head back to your accommodation and relax. You can indulge in some family activities, such as playing board games or watching a movie together.
