Venice is such a magical place, and I’m excited to help you plan a fun-filled family itinerary. With your hotel in Mestre, you’ll have easy access to Venice via the train or bus, which is super convenient. Let’s dive into your two-day adventure!
Day 1: Exploring the Heart of Venice
10:00 AM - Arrive in Venice
- After arriving, take a quick train or bus ride from Mestre to Venice. The journey is about 10-15 minutes, and the kids will love the excitement of traveling over the canals!
10:30 AM -
- Start your day at the iconic St. Mark’s Square. The kids will be thrilled to see the pigeons and the stunning architecture. Don’t forget to snap a family photo with the Basilica di San Marco in the background!

4:00 PM - Return to Venice
- Head back to Venice and take some time to relax or do some last-minute shopping. You can explore the little shops around St. Mark’s Square or grab a few more gelatos!
5:00 PM - Departure Prep
- Make your way back to Mestre to collect your bags and prepare for your departure.
6:00 PM - Departure
- Say goodbye to Venice, but with all the wonderful memories you’ve created as a family!
