Vietnam is a beautiful country with so much to offer. Here's an ideal itinerary for 7 days in Vietnam for a couple:

Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Hanoi. Spend the rest of the day exploring the city on your own. You can visit the Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake, and enjoy some delicious street food.

Day 2: Hanoi City Tour

After breakfast, start your day with a guided tour of Hanoi. Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, and the Ethnology Museum. In the evening, watch a traditional water puppet show.

Day 3: Halong Bay Cruise

After breakfast, depart for Halong Bay, one of the most beautiful natural wonders of the world. Enjoy a cruise through the bay, explore caves, and swim in the emerald waters. Overnight on board the cruise ship.

Day 4: Halong Bay - Hanoi - Danang - Hoi An

Wake up early to catch the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, return to Hanoi and take a flight to Danang. Upon arrival, transfer to Hoi An, a charming ancient town. Spend the afternoon exploring the town on foot, visiting the Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese Assembly Halls, and local markets.

Day 5: Hoi An Countryside Tour

Take a bicycle tour through the countryside of Hoi An. Visit local villages, rice paddies, and learn about the daily life of the locals. In the afternoon, relax on the beach or get some clothes tailored at one of the many tailor shops in town.

Day 6: My Son Sanctuary - Hoi An

In the morning, visit the My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was once the religious and political capital of the Champa Kingdom. Return to Hoi An in the afternoon and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 7: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Danang International Airport for your flight back home.
