Vietnam is a beautiful country with so much to offer. Here's an ideal itinerary for 9 days in Vietnam that will allow you to explore the best of what this country has to offer:

Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you'll be picked up by your driver and transferred to your hotel in Hanoi. Spend the rest of the day exploring the city on foot, visiting the Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake, and the Temple of Literature.

Day 2: Hanoi City Tour

Start your day with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, followed by the One Pillar Pagoda and the Presidential Palace. After lunch, visit the Museum of Ethnology and the Ngoc Son Temple. In the evening, enjoy a traditional water puppet show.

Day 3: Halong Bay Cruise

Take a scenic drive to Halong Bay, where you'll board a traditional junk boat for a cruise around the bay. Enjoy lunch on board while admiring the stunning scenery of limestone cliffs and emerald waters. Visit a fishing village and go kayaking before returning to your boat for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Halong Bay - Hanoi - Hue

Day 9: Cu Chi Tunnels - Departure

Take a half-day trip to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground network used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War. Return to Ho Chi Minh City for lunch before transferring to the airport for your departure flight.
