Washington D.C. is a wonderful city with so much to see and do. Here's an ideal itinerary for one day in Washington D.C. that is family-friendly and at a relaxed pace:

Morning: Start your day by visiting the National Mall, which is home to many of the city's most famous landmarks. Begin at the Lincoln Memorial, where you can take in the stunning views of the Reflecting Pool and the Washington Monument. From there, head over to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and the Korean War Veterans Memorial, both of which are moving tributes to those who served our country.
