Good choice on visiting Budapest! It's a beautiful city with so much to offer. Let's plan an ideal itinerary for your one day in Budapest, keeping in mind your constraints.

Day 1:

Morning: Start your day by visiting the iconic Hungarian Parliament Building. It's a stunning architectural masterpiece and one of the most important landmarks in Budapest. Take a guided tour inside to learn about its history and admire the grandeur of the interior.

Afternoon: After the Parliament, hop on the public transport and head to the Castle District. Take the tram or bus to reach the Buda Castle, which offers panoramic views of the city. Explore the castle complex, visit the Hungarian National Gallery, and take a leisurely stroll through the charming streets of the district.

Next, make your way to Fisherman's Bastion, a fairy-tale-like terrace with seven towers offering breathtaking views of the Danube River and the Pest side of the city. Don't forget to take some memorable photos here!

Evening: As the day winds down, take a walk across the iconic Chain Bridge, which connects Buda and Pest. Once on the Pest side, explore the vibrant Váci Street, known for its shops, cafes, and restaurants.
