Hello and welcome to Joshua Tree National Park! It's great that you'll be arriving at 2 pm from the south entrance with your family, including a 1-year-old and a 7-year-old. Let's make the most of your time here with a family-friendly itinerary for your day in the park.
2:00 pm - 3:00 pm: Upon entering the park, head straight to the . Here, you can pick up maps, get information on current conditions, and maybe even let the kids stretch their legs a bit after the drive.
3:00 pm - 4:30 pm: Drive towards the Hidden Valley area. This is a great spot for a short hike suitable for all ages. The is a one-mile loop that takes you through a beautiful rock-enclosed valley. It's a relatively easy hike and perfect for the whole family to enjoy.
