South Africa is a stunning country with so much to offer, and I’m excited to help you plan a fantastic 3-day itinerary that takes you from Cape Town to Johannesburg, with a stop in Port Elizabeth. Let’s dive in!

## Day 1: Cape Town to the Garden Route

Morning:

• Start your day with a hearty breakfast at one of Cape Town’s charming cafes. I recommend trying out the local favorite, The Breakfast Room.
• After breakfast, hit the road early and head towards the Garden Route. The drive to Knysna is about 5-6 hours, but the scenery is absolutely breathtaking, so take your time!

Afternoon:

• Stop for lunch in Knysna, a lovely coastal town known for its lagoon and oysters. Try The Turbine Boutique Hotel and Spa for a unique dining experience.
• After lunch, take a stroll around the Knysna Waterfront or visit the Knysna Heads for stunning views of the ocean.

## Day 2: Plettenberg Bay to Port Elizabeth

• After breakfast, consider a morning adventure! You could go for a hike in the nearby Tsitsikamma National Park or take a canopy tour through the trees. Both options are exhilarating and showcase the natural beauty of the area.

Afternoon:

• Head back to Plettenberg Bay for lunch at The Fat Fish, known for its delicious seafood and relaxed atmosphere.
• After lunch, make your way to Port Elizabeth (about 1.5 hours away). Once you arrive, check into your hotel and freshen up.

Evening:

• Explore the beachfront area of Port Elizabeth, known as the Boardwalk. It’s a vibrant area with shops, restaurants, and entertainment.
• For dinner, try The Coachman Restaurant, which offers a great selection of local dishes and a cozy atmosphere.

## Day 3: Port Elizabeth to Johannesburg

It’s a fantastic place to see elephants and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Spend a few hours exploring the park.

• Head back to Port Elizabeth for lunch. You could grab a quick bite at The Red Location Museum Café, which offers a unique cultural experience.
• After lunch, it’s time to catch your internal flight to Johannesburg. Make sure to arrive at the airport with plenty of time to spare!

Evening:

• Once you arrive in Johannesburg, check into your hotel. If you have the energy, consider exploring the vibrant neighborhood of Maboneng, known for its art scene, restaurants, and nightlife.
• For dinner, try Marble, a trendy restaurant that specializes in live-fire cooking and offers stunning views of the city.
