Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati

Welcome to Assam! Upon arrival at Guwahati airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist you with the transfer to your hotel. Take some time to relax and settle in. In the evening, you can explore the local markets and try some delicious Assamese cuisine.

Day 2: Guwahati Sightseeing

After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Guwahati. Visit the Kamakhya Temple, a famous Hindu pilgrimage site dedicated to the goddess Kamakhya. Enjoy a boat ride on the Brahmaputra River and witness the stunning sunset views. In the evening, you can visit the Umananda Temple, located on an island in the middle of the river.

Day 3: Kaziranga National Park

Today, we will head to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the endangered one-horned rhinoceros. Enjoy a thrilling jeep safari through the park and spot various wildlife species like elephants, tigers, and deer. In the evening, you can relax at your resort and enjoy the serene surroundings.

Day 4: Shillong

After breakfast, we will drive to Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya. En route, visit the beautiful Umiam Lake, also known as the "Barapani Lake." Upon reaching Shillong, check into your hotel and spend the evening exploring the local markets and trying out some delicious street food.

Day 5: Cherrapunji

Today, we will visit Cherrapunji, known as the "wettest place on earth." Explore the mesmerizing Nohkalikai Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India, and the Seven Sisters Falls. Visit the Mawsmai Cave, a natural limestone cave, and enjoy the breathtaking views from the Eco Park. Return to Shillong in the evening.

Day 6: Mawlynnong and Dawki

Embark on a day trip to Mawlynnong, known as the "cleanest village in Asia." Explore the village and witness the unique living root bridges. Later, visit Dawki, a small town famous for its crystal-clear Umngot River. Enjoy a boat ride on the river and marvel at the stunning views. Return to Shillong in the evening.

Day 7: Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak

Today, visit the Elephant Falls, a three-tiered waterfall located just outside Shillong. Enjoy the scenic beauty and take some memorable photographs. Later, visit the Shillong Peak, the highest point in the city, and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys. Spend the evening at leisure, exploring the local markets.

Day 8: Departure

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to Guwahati for your departure. Bid farewell to the beautiful states of Assam and Meghalaya, taking back wonderful memories of your trip.
